Taking a Break!

Hello World.

If you’ve been coming by the site in the past couple months, you probably noticed that nothing has changed! My school schedule has not become fairly busy, so I haven’t had the time to make new posts on thirtyfifteen.

I’m gonna put the blog on a hiatus for awhile, but I will still be updating my twitter regularly!

The Socks that Shocked a Nation

Andy got new socks. Andy Roddick, that is. The socks are short. They hit just at the ankle. They do not ascend 5 or 6 inches above where the shoe ends. They are sometimes black. The girls wear them. Mardy Fish wears them. We first got a glimpse of them at Queens.

Now, Andy Roddick wears them. Thanks for flashing the calves Andy.

(Not) Overheard at Wimbledon

Oh Brits, you do enjoy your humor. And by “humor” I mean the belittling of others. No worries, we think it is hilarious, I wish Americans weren’t too polite to say some of these things on national TV.

Shake it Nole (Petko and Vika too…)

Some people don’t understand why I like the players that I do. Here is the perfect example. They may not win the grand slams, or have the most elegant games, but they really do make tennis a little more fun and a little less stuffy.

I would like to submit this video to nominate Nole and Petko for Entertainers of the year.

Hello Friends!

My long hiatus is over. I took my medical boards a week ago and now I finally have some time to breathe and return to you all. So much has happened, so where to start?

French Open: LI NA. Everyone should be afraid of China right now. Remember the Beijing Olympics? I’m pretty sure that anything China sets its mind to, it can do x1000. I bet sea levels would decrease and Antarctica would increase in size if China decided to do something about Global Warming. Oh, and Rafa won too.

Nole: The streak has ended. I wish it would have been at the hands of someone else, but just ask Nelly Furtado, all good things come to an end.

Grass: The one surface I have yet to set foot on. Wimby is my favorite tournament. I went in 2009 and it was the experience of a lifetime (for more ways than I care to remember, let’s just say that Pimms+strawberries+cream+dehydration does not agree with me).
